1) Cut 1 block of tempeh in half, then slice into thin strips
2) Marinate tempeh strips in smoky-maple marinade
ingredients:
4 Tb Bragg's liquid aminos
1 clove garlic- pressed
1 Tb maple syrup
1/4 tsp liquid smoke
2 tsp tomato paste
(whisk ingredients together, and add tempeh, marinate for a couple hours, or leave in fridge for a couple days)
3) Fry marinated tempeh strips in a castiron skillet :)

I've eliminated animal products from my diet for about 3 weeks now, and this was easy to make and a nice treat, thanks! It's a nice "training wheels" recipe.
